Design of open recreation
zone “Ingria Tower”

REFRACTION EFFECT
The idea of making recreational zone, as forming source, is based on the triangle concept that is one of flat figures just like Ingria Tower that is a new form of building, is based on historical inheritance. Walking routes created according to the project idea, have closed trajectory and exclude dead ends. The green square of the recreational zone is no less than 50% of the total square that makes the space more comfortable and desirable for rest around green plants. Zigzags, refractions and intersections of roads make us feel the space better. The same effect is created by small architecture forms such as benches for rest, flowerpots for plants, decorative fencing for lights and abstract sculptures.
Laconic design solutions of the recreational zone unite the interior and exterior spaces into single harmonic structure. Configuration of lights gives appropriate compositional form in the atrium space that is located on the zero height mark under the lights.
